Learn more about what you’re made of with our medical grade body composition analyzer. Our state-of-the-art machine uses bioelectrical impedence, undetectable alternating electrical currents, to provide you with valuable data.

You will be provided results including:

Performance VO2 Max Test

Our Performance VO₂ Max Test measures how efficiently your body uses oxygen during exercise. This assessment provides valuable information about your aerobic fitness, training zones, and exercise intensity thresholds, helping you train smarter and track progress over time.

Our appointments can include:

  • Measure your aerobic capacity and endurance fitness

  • Identify personalized heart rate and training zones

  • Determine your aerobic and anaerobic thresholds

  • Track improvements in fitness over time

  • Evaluate the effectiveness of your current training program

  • Receive individualized exercise recommendations from an exercise physiologist

$190 for 60 minute in-person appointment

Before Scheduling
This assessment is designed to measure aerobic capacity and support training recommendations through a maximal exercise test. Participants should be able to safely perform vigorous exercise on a treadmill. While VO₂ max is a valuable measure of aerobic fitness, this test is not intended solely to determine maximum heart rate or provide a complete assessment of overall health and fitness.

Run Clinic

Improve your running ability with the help of Positive Choice. All of the following will be conducted by our exercise physiologists that specialize in the sport of running:

  • Medical/Running History:
A thorough review of your medical and running history will be performed along with goal-setting.
  • Treadmill Analysis:
A slow-motion video will capture your running form from different angles, allowing us to understand where you lose energy with running.
  • Shoe Assessment:
Assess the ware pattern of your current shoes. Recommendations may be made based on the treadmill analysis for level of stability needed.
  • Body Assessment:
A run-specific body evaluation will be conducted to identify the areas of your body that need to be addressed to become a stronger runner.
  • Corrective Exercise Program:
The session will end with a corrective exercise program that should give you good starting points to begin making a change in the areas found to impede your success with running or reaching your goals.

Assessment can be combined with SECA Body Composition, Resting Metabolic Rate Testing, VO2 Testing, or one-on-one exercise training appointments.
