KP San Diego offers healthy lifestyle programs and services to help with a variety of medical conditions and programs for families, teens, new moms, and you! We hope to partner with you in supporting your lifestyle goals.

Healthy Balance Weight Loss Program
Lose weight while attending weekly sessions that include education on creating healthier habits through nutrition, fitness, stress management and mindfulness. Program helps you get started on a diet of whole, unprocessed, nutrient-dense foods, that aid in weight loss and disease prevention. Each session includes light exercise. Classes meet weekly for 1-hour for 16 sessions and are offered virtually and in-person.
No fee for KP members,
non-members can participate for only $10/session.

Work with your own personal wellness coach on the phone to set goals for healthy, lasting change. Together, you and your coach will build a plan of action tailored just for you.
You and your coach will speak every couple of weeks for a total of 6 calls. During the calls your coach can help you set small achievable goals, stick to them, and, most importantly, see results. And you can do it all from the comfort of home.
Coaching is offered in English and Spanish at no cost to Kaiser Permanente members. To schedule a phone appointment with a coach, call 1-866-862-4295 Monday through Friday, 7 a.m. to 7 p.m. PT.
Living Well with Diabetes
Learn how to check, manage, and treat high and low blood sugars, manage medications, understand insulin in this 2-session workshop. Determine how to make the right food and activity choices, get active, understand the mind-body connection, and manage stress. No fee for KP members.
