Start a Worksite Walking Club
A simple 30-minute walk helps busy working people add up to 6,000 steps towards the daily needed fitness goal of 10,000 steps a day. Increased activity leads to increased productivity, decreased stress, and team building. Our corporate "Train the Trainer" package provides everything your company needs to start and maintain a worksite walking club. The package includes a 1-hour presentation by an exercise physiologist, a 12-week multi-level walking program designed to increase participants' cardiovascular strength and endurance, instruction on recruiting leaders and participants, and an informative CD and manual, which contains templates for handouts. (Program Package $400)

Boost Your Metabolism
It takes about five miles of walking a day to maintain current levels of fitness and between six and seven miles a day to achieve weight loss or cardiovascular improvement. Your average employee walks about two miles a day. Boost Your Metabolism, presented by an exercise physiologist, provides exercise techniques and routines that are the only definitive way to increase body metabolism. Your employees learn to develop and maintain exercise habits that help boost their bodys' ability to burn calories. ($250 per hour.)

FitSteps Do-It-Yourself Walking Program
Your employees could always use a personal coach when it comes to being physically fit, but personal coaches can be expensive. The FitSteps Pedometer Walking Program is a simle, inexpensive alternative. Each package includes a high-qualty pedometer, a self-training plan, and fitness log. The easy-to-follow training plan is useful for people of any fitness level. You may purchase FitSteps for employees to use on their own or as part of a worksite wellness walking club. ($24 per person plus $5 shipping for up to 10 programs.)

Simple Yoga
Often described as a mini-vacation, Simple Yoga provides 45 minutes of physical conditioning as well as relaxation and mental reward. Simple Yoga teaches poses that are done sitting in a chair. The poses promote flexibility and strength while helping people focus on deep breathing and relaxation. Your employees experience increased circulation, energy, and concentrating and an enhanced mood.

Chair Dancing
Would you believe you can get a great cardiovascular workout sitting in a chair? Your employees get a boost totheir metabolism ith this 45-minute, seated aerobic workout. Options are given for different workout levels. The instructor leads the class through a warm-up, an aerobic session, and cool-down.

Tri-Fitness
A balanced fitness routine targets three areas of fitness: cardiovascular strength and endurance, muscle strength, and flexibility. Tri-Fitness is a great 45-minute class that targets all three areas withlow-impact aerobics, muscle toning with weights and bands and Iyengar Yoga for flexibility and relaxation.

Keep Fit at Your Desk
A lot of work at the office and more work to doat home often means less workout time for fitness. Keep Fit at Your Desk teaches your employees stretching and strengthening exercises that can be incorporated into a normal workday. These techniques are especially helpful for extra busy times at the office when longer hours interfere with regular exercise.
